Experience of working with third sector organisations
Experience
I have been employed by PNE since 1989. I worked for six years as a business advisor and have worked a further 14 years supporting Third Sector organisations to develop and sustain their organisations. I have developed and delivered a number of projects and programmes to support organisational development across the sector, assisting with strategic development, capital development, partnership and collaboration and supporting organisations to consider and progress merger opportunities. As an experienced facilitator and trainer, I have worked closely with a range of Third Sector management boards, enabling them to consolidate or implement changes i.e. undertake a capital development project, review their policies, procedures and processes, restructure their organisation or plan their future strategy. I have experience of supporting a diverse range of organisations to select an appropriate business model for their organisation and regularly update my knowledge of Company and Charity Law. Recent experiences have included providing capital fundraising support to an art Gallery in Newcastle, supporting a local community group to build a new centre, assisting a local school to secure the capital funding required to develop their premises to accommodate a community nursery and supporting a local hospice to secure funding to extend their current building.

Wor Hoose
"For seven years I was the trustee of 'Wor Hoose', a small community project in a highly deprived area of the east end of Newcastle. Three years after Wor Hoose opened we decided we needed to produce a strategic plan for the next stage of the project's life. Tracey Moore came to us from PNE to support this process. The trustees met with her every week over a couple of months. Tracey worked with us to develop a clear vision of the project's future activities and then to work out the organisational, costing and staffing implications. By the end of this period we had produced an outstanding business plan. This plan was the launch pad for the next three years of the project, since then Wor Hoose has gone from strength to strength. It is difficult to see how this would have been possible without Tracey's help and guidance. All the ideas and inspirations were of course already there amongst the trustees; but Tracey's great skill was acting as the catalyst to bring it all out and transform it into a structured, organised plan. Thank you Tracey for all you did for us, and for our community."

St Martin's Centre
"Over a period of around five years we have turned to PNE for support and training around five times and each time we have specifically asked for Tracey Moore because, from the very beginning of the process, she has been so helpful and enabling. Initially she worked with us to put together our business plan and what was most impressive about that was the way in which she enabled us to write the business plan together in such a way that the whole of the management committee had considerable ownership of it. This business plan was key to the success of our fund raising strategy which raised in excess of £1.6 million to pay for the capital cost of the new centre. Following on from this, Tracey has been very valuable to us both in further future planning and helping trustees to understand the responsibilities they have and the role they need to play in the life of the new centre. I have no hesitation in recommending Tracey to any organisation that will acknowledge her expertise and enable this expertise to be made more available to other organisations particularly within the voluntary sector."
