Experience of working with third sector organisations
Experience
I have worked in the Cooperative, Community Business and Social Enterprise sector for over 20 years. I have worked as a director of 3rd sector organisations and have first hand knowledge and experience of governance. I have supported a wide range of enterprises operating in the Third Sector from pre-start social enterprises to charities setting up trading arms in order to develop new markets. I manage the strand of Newcastle City's Enterprise Support Package that provides services to the VCS and SE sector. As part of our programme we run workshops and mentoring sessions for organisations wishing to undertake asset transfer.

Community Catering Initiative
"CCI is a social enterprise operating out of the Thomas Gaughan Community Centre in Walker. Bob Webb has provided them with support in preparing a tender to run a bistro (The Space) in the HQ of the Home Group on the South Gosforth business park. This was a new venture for CCI and preparation for the bid involved not just business and financial planning but also group development and confidence building."
