Experience of working with third sector organisations
Experience
I have spent most of my career providing advice and support for third sector organisations. Initially I worked in supported housing, then tenant involvement. For the past ten years, I have provided advice, information and training for development trusts, which are community based regeneration organisations using assets and enterprise to increase their long-term financial sustainability. I specialise in work around strategic and business planning working with third sector organisations to develop their vision, aims and objectives and work plans. I work with third sector organisations to carry out an initial viability assessment of a potential property asset. I also provide support for organisations embarking on community enterprise development. I take a very practical approach, focusing on clear action plans to deliver achievable targets.

Seahouses Development Trust
"Debbie has, for a number of years, advised me and the Trust on both asset and social enterprise development. Her advice has always been insightful and she has been prepared to challenge thinking and assumptions in a critical but positive way. This has made me re-think some ideas and spot new opportunities that have benefited the organisation and its work."
