Resources
We have compiled a range of resources and funding information which you may find useful for your own projects.
The guides and toolkit which you will find in the related links and downloads section below will support you through each stage of the capital development process and will enable you to start planning your own projects.
Places for Everyone Capital Development Toolkit
In the related links and downloads section below you will find access to the Places for Everyone Capital Development Toolkit. This document has been designed to help guide you through each stage of the capital development process and will enable you to start planning your own projects. It provides organisations with a template to help think through the issues around buying, building or refurbishing a property, however it is no substitute for professional advice.
Please be aware that this toolkit is currently being piloted however we encourage you to work through the toolkit and if you identify any issues or concerns to please raise them with the Places for Everyone team through the contact us page of the website.
Funding
We have compiled a list of the grant and loan funders who provide financial support for third sector organisations to deliver capital development projects in the North East. To view the document please see the related links and downloads section.
Feasibility Fund
Through the Places for Everyone programme, organisations can apply for a grant of up to £2000 in order to support them to test the feasibility of their projects.
Funding can be used to employ a consultant to undertake a feasibility study or can be used by the organisation themselves to test the feasibility of their ideas. Organisations interested in applying for a grant should complete the application form which can be found in the related links and downloads section below and return as per instruction.
In order to qualify for the grant you must:
